FPS: A broad range of special applications
The FRIWO Power Solutions (FPS) business unit is strategically focussed on platform- and client-specific power supply units and chargers, with customers in the fields of medical technology, IT and communications, domestic appliances and power tools, along with industrial applications.
The selection of sophisticated products ranges from platform systems right through to unique customised applications. This calls for outstanding competence in the field of technical product design. Engineering teams in Germany and China work together to satisfy these demands and to guarantee the highest standards of quality and technology. In medical technology, for example, FPS sets new market-wide standards with leakage currents of less than 10 microamperes. And in order to guarantee the optimum production of the developed products, FPS has the necessary capacities both in Germany and in China.
From the point of view of marketing, FPS is also a global player. It uses the concept of area marketing to reach its customers worldwide. On the one hand there are special sales teams in the key markets of Germany, the USA, China and Japan to guarantee the greatest possible flexibility with respect to the customers' wishes. FPS is further supported by a network of commercial agents and distributors. |
