One in every four mobile phones in the world is powered by FRIWO technology.
FRIWO Mobile Power (FMP) is consistently focussed on the of high-volume consumer devices. Typical applications include mobile and wireless telephony, audio/video players, and digital cameras. The telecommunications industry receiving high emphasis in this respect. FMP is a world leading supplier of main adapters and chargers for mobile telephones.
FMP operates worldwide as an independent strategic business unit. Its R&D centres in Germany and China work hand-in-hand with one another and with the customers. All these high-volume items are produced in the group's own factories in China, which is absolutely crucial for the company's international competitiveness.
FMP's customers are predominantly to be found in the OEM sector - with world-renowned brands in the communications and entertainment sector. This OEM business - compared with the approach of FPS - calls for special forms of customer support: under the terms of this management system each key account has its own key account manager assigned. The Key Account Manager who provides the interface for all interactive between the customer and FRIWO. The range of tasks performed by each Key Account Manager shows how much responsibility every single employee at FRIWO bears for the success of the company as a whole. A further special feature is that FMP is involved in the customer's development of new products from a very early stage and thus is able to tailor the necessary power supply units and chargers specifically and optimally to the individual needs of these products. |
